Financial reporting guidelines for non-scheme pipelines

Monday, 09th October 2017 Under Part 23 of the National Gas Rules (NGR), service providers of non-scheme pipelines are required to publish a range of information, including financial information and weighted average price information.
The Gas Market Reform Group (GMRG) released a consultation paper on the draft Financial Reporting Guidelines for Non-Scheme Pipelines and the financial reporting template. The consultation paper sets out the proposed approach to the reporting of financial information and weighted average price information, identifies the key issues involved and sought stakeholder feedback on these issues.
In addition to providing written submissions, stakeholders had the opportunity to discuss their views at a number of roundtable discussions held in Sydney, Melbourne and Perth. Separate roundtables were held for shippers (gas producers, large gas users and gas retailers) and pipeline operators.
